The Adults Sunday School Class

Bible Study Group

This is a Bible study group on Sunday mornings for the adult members of the church.

This group, led by our Lay Leader, Carolyn, meets in the Conference Room in the Main Building. We recently completed our study of the "Minor Prophets", and are now diving into the book of "Job".

Job, you may recall, was an especially righteous man who suffered greatly at the hands of Satan. Throughout his ordeal, he insisted that he was innocent of wrongdoing and asked God why he suffered. (Does this situation sound familiar?) God responds to Jobs questions.

The main points of Job are:

• We should trust God in all situations, regardless of their local appearance.
• If we want to support a friend who is going through a hard time, the proper way to do this is to listen and support. We are not to judge or give useless advice.
