Missions
Jesus is quoted (in Matthew 28:18-20) as having given us these instructions:
All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

The United Methodist Church has, for many years, actively sent missionaries into the field in compliance with that commission, which is often called "The Great Commission".
Several teams from Shady Hills United Methodist Church have gone forth over the past several years. Here, you will find information about missionaries from our church who are currently active.
